Family Photo Shoot Days!
Are you involved in fundraising for a charity or for a local group/organisation and are finding it difficult to come up with new ways to raise some funds.
At Little Monsters we are offering a new and fun way to help you to raise money for your charity or local community. By holding a family photo shoot day in your local church hall, community centre or even in your local school.
Everyone loves to have photographs of their family and especially of their children, and it is something that most people can not afford to do. Finding a studio that doesn't charge extortionate sitting fees, and pressure people into buying more than the "free" photograph they are offered is hard to come by. Thats why we at Little Monsters are different than your average photographer. Holding a family photo shoot day is an ideal way to cut out the cost and pressure of these things and to also make some money for your charity. Whilst offering a service to your local families.
How do the family photo shoot days work?
The shoots are usually held in a hall, obviously they first of all cost money to hire. We suggest that you charge a booking fee at your discretion, usually about £10 per family, this should cover the cost of the hall and if there is any left over money towards your charity.
How long does each family have?
Usually about 10-15mins each, you should be able to fit in about 30-40 families in one day, on a shoot that runs from 9am-5pm.
We don't want people waiting all day, how do we organise this?
When you make a booking with Little Monsters we send out along with confirmation of the booking a time slot form, this enables you to books families in a selected times.
Do families have to purchase on the day?
NO, on the day of the shoot, we take address information from the families and send them out a proof card 5-7 days after the shoot. This gives the family time to decide whether they want to purchase any photographs as there is no obligation or pressure for them to do so.
How long will they have to wait for their final photographs?
On each proof card that is sent out there will be a return by date, as long as all orders are in by this date they will receive the final photographs a week later.
How do I make money for my charity?
As we said earlier if you charge a £10 booking fee to cover the cost of the hall which is usually around £150, and you have booked in 30 families you have already made £150. Also we give to you up to 25% commission on all profits. This will be paid to you when all orders have been received and processed. We also give a detailed breakdown of what is ordered so there is nothing hidden.
How Much do the Photographs cost?
Photographs start from as little as £8.49 for a 7x5, we also offer a variety of packages. If you would like a more detailed price list please contact us and we can email it to you.
